The Braes of Doune Wind Farm, near Stirling, Scotland, began operating in 2007. Built by Alfred McAlpine and initially run by Airtricity, it supplied power to Centrica under a long-term purchase agreement.

Ownership changed hands several times — in 2015, Greencoat UK Wind and Hermes GPE LLP acquired the site, and by 2021, Greencoat became the sole owner.

The wind farm consists of 36 Vestas V80 turbines, each rated at 2 MW, providing a total generation capacity of 72 MW.
