Corriegarth Wind Farm is an onshore wind project located to the south-east of Loch Mhor in the Scottish Highlands, approximately 35 km south of Inverness. The site consists of 23 turbines with a total installed capacity of 69 MW, developed originally by Renewable Energy Systems (RES) and now operated as part of the Innogy/RWE portfolio. Commissioned in 2017, the wind farm benefits from elevated moorland terrain that provides consistent wind resource, enabling strong load factors relative to other UK onshore sites.

Electricity generated at Corriegarth is exported to the local distribution network via a dedicated substation and underground cabling, contributing to Scotland’s growing share of renewable generation. Its performance is typically characterised by high wind availability during winter months, with notable variability tied to Atlantic weather systems that influence the Highlands.
