The Enfield Power Station is a 408 MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant located at Brimsdown in North London, on part of the former Brimsdown Power Station site. Construction began in 1997, and the plant was commissioned in December 1999 as the Enfield Energy Centre, originally owned by Indeck Energy Services and Enfield Holdings BV.

It was later purchased by E.ON UK for £109 million in 2005, and since 2016 has been operated by Uniper, one of the UK’s leading energy companies. The plant efficiently converts natural gas into electricity for the National Grid, helping to meet London’s growing energy demand while maintaining lower emissions compared with older fossil-fuel stations.

Enfield uses an Alstom GT26B2.2 gas turbine and a heat recovery steam generator that powers a secondary Alstom steam turbine, increasing efficiency through waste heat recovery. Electricity is exported to the grid at 132 kV, making Enfield a compact, reliable, and cleaner source of power for the capital.
